A Case of Huge Ovarian Cyst

Abstract
|
|
|
We are reporting herein what we believe to be the largest ovarian tumor ever reported in Korea.
This 65 years old multiparous woman visited at Emergency Room of S.N.U.H. oh March, 18, 1970 with the complaint of marked abd9anina.ll distention´ which progressed rather. rapidly during recent 3 years.
Her body weight was 70kg and abdominal circumference was 145cm on admission.
The tumor, originated from left side ovary, was removed surgically after puncture aspiration of cystic contents before and during operation.
The tumor weight was 33kg and the volume of cystic contents were 32.2 L. Pathologic finding revealed multiloculated mutinous cystadenocarcinoma of ovary. Postoperative condition was rather weK and discharged on postop. 12th day on foot.
